We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a health practice. This is a remote role focused on front-desk and patient coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience in a medical setting, is HIPAA compliant, and is confident in handling patient interactions with accuracy and professionalism.
Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week

Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Accurately register and update patient information in the system
Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information as needed
Ensure all patient data is handled in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth daily operations
Proven prior experience as a Medical Receptionist
HIPAA certification (mandatory)
Strong experience with:
Call handling
Appointment scheduling
Patient registration and data accuracy
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
High attention to detail and professionalism when handling sensitive patient information
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Organized, reliable, and patient-focused
Familiar with medical office workflows and patient intake processes
